Thank you for taking the time to do this as after 15 years of being with my husband, I contracted hsv 2 from him for christmas (yay me) Anyway I, like you, don't believe that this has to be a life sentence, convincing my spouse of that has been challenging over the years. But I told him that he can hop on the train with me or stay put but I will heal myself. Any new developments since your last post?

So far, I have only had one outbreak. My symptoms started right after Christmas. When my husband realized the next morning that he was having an outbreak, he told me right away.

Following that, i noticed that I was sneezing alot and was wondering why. I am a pretty healthy person who rarely catches colds. My last one was 2+ years ago. I workout 4-5 days a week and eat a pretty clean pescatarian diet. Now, I have stopped eating fish and began to focus on more alkaline foods. I digress.

At the time we were traveling, in Florida. So, I thought that maybe the sneezing was related to something in the air. I now know that this was a sign of being infected. I also noticed a slight prickly feeling in my genital area.
My sores were pronounced after the new year. Took about 10 days to heal too.

I treated them topically with a garlic,coconut oil mix and ACV. Both burn like the dickens.

As a result, I have increase my intake of Irish Seamoss which is high in Iodine an many other minerals.i am also taking some herbs, 2 Tbsp of Black seed oil, and for the last 7 days been drinking activated charcoal w/ lemon and a dash of honey. I feel like I am all over the place.

I want to take garlic pills and thinking about DMSO but have included them yet.

Something is bound to work...just have to find that something.
