Re: Protocol Strongyloides
From what i could gather, you need to be treating with ivermectin and albendazole daily for a few months before you add fenben and the rest. Once you start fenben, you start 14 days of double doses right before the full moon, twice a day 5mg or 10mg/kg. You also start doxycycline twice a day 100mg. Doxy you take for one month, then you take 2 weeks off and you continue for 2 weeks and then again 2 weeks off. Please see the ICU guidelines on how to take doxy (important!). You also need to take a standard dose of ivermectin daily, PM, no food 1 hr before and 2 hrs after, on an empty stomach. After 14 days of fenben double doses, you stop fenben and you keep on with ivermectin, 3 days on and 1 day off. You then continue with the double dosing of fenben for5 days every 2 weeks, timed on the full moon. After a couple of months, when you should be better, you add moxidectin+ praziquantel (quest plus) once a month timed on the full moon.
Sharkman, if i have said anything wrong pls correct me. I dont remember exactly by heart.
Please note that this protocol will work well if you dont have other underlying infections. This is to treat strongyloides. I know it is recommended for other roundworms too but for me it was not enough (i have a combination) so i added other meds as well. I do know of others that have removed their other infections first and used this protocol with success.
