is resin necessery

Hi I was thinking of making an orgon cloud buster or any other shaped object. My first question is it necessery to use resin to hold everything together. Are there other options that do not use resin(natural options) like for instance a bucket with soil or clay. Does this make a difference in terms of how energy is carried..
