Re: Is there any hope ?

It started at the end of July. I noticed that my lips were very dry and that they began to peel slowly. I thought: “Ok put some lipstick on it”.
But after weeks, I had big crusts on all of my lips that don’t fall. If I put lots of Vaseline before to go to sleep, they fall during the night and I wake up with very inflamed and painful lips. Then, the cycle starts again.

I’ve noticed that I have crusts above my lips, in my moustache. I’m wondering: “Am I the only one to have this symptom?”.

The thing is that I can go back to my life with that. I can barely talk and I look like a monster.

If I had thin crusts on my lips, I could. It would be unpleasant, but I could. Like I am now, it’s impossible.

The thing that makes me crazy is that dermatologists seem totally unaware of this condition.
