Temperature during transport, FMT

If the time window is 2 - 3 hours from collection to insertion, you do not have to worry about temperature.

Room temperature is perfectly OK.

If the time window is more than 16 hours, refrigeration is practiced by many who practice home FMT.

In case of sending feces by FedEx or by some other fast delivery service that anyway may take at least 12 - 36 hours, most people practice first storage in a plastic bag with refrigeration to lower the temperature and slow down the fermentation process, then use of Stainless Steel thermos during the transportation time.

Thanks to the possibility of using Stainless Steel thermoses and fast delivery services in USA, Canada, UK, Australia and Europe, people have been able to even use Poop from compatible donors who live far away on a different side of a continent or a different side of country.

Some have even taken chances and have been sending thermoses across borders.
That , of course, would be considered illegal activity in most countries.

Some people registered as donors offer this service all over the country they live in. Quite a few of them in USA.

Poop is the most advanced medicine in the post- Antibiotic millennium.
