Aneurysm - Re: No Response

Hello Godisgreat,

I echo both your concerns for aneurysms and the fact that Uny is one bright albeit very busy natural healer.

My concern lies firstly in a family history of aneurysm on mother's side. Her mother suffered one or more in the brain "stroke" in the 5-10 years prior to death in her mid-70s; elder brother incurred a massive upper abdominal burst that caused his death, also in mid-70s. By the time mother had hers - aortic at the kidneys - and miracuously survived - orthodox medicine had at leadt developed a method for detection, via ultra-sound-like-device, which they recommend for people with such hereditary disposition. I am mostly anti-orthodoxy but an exception is judiciously availing to its diagnostic expertise when necessary ..... hence the reasons for my interests in how to address this condition with natural remedies.

I am anxious to read Uny's aforementioned advice. Among the reasons, I have not, yet, been able to find much in the literature from JRChristopher, Richard Schulze and like-minded healers. As such, my hunch as an amateur DIY natural healer is to utilize remedies and lifestyle choices known to benefit and or nourish the vascular system. Based on my lay understanding of this condition, we are all dealt a deck of hereditary cards at birth, some people are born with aneurysms, generally unaware, which makes it somewhat difficult to address proactively. I have seen some blurbs from Schulze on how to help stroke victims reactively, using formulas such as Brain, which contains hetbs that promote vascular health in the head, namely Cayenne, Gingko and such. I have been a devoted user of Cayenne/Garlic/Ginger/Hawthorn Berry for a good 10 plus years and while I know first hand each of these have improved my heart/blood/BP/circulation health, I suspect there may be more things to do that will help minimize aneurysms becoming worse; eating to live rather than living to eat, losing weight and not smoking tops on this list. The main concern is not the presence of aneurysms; the main concern is doing things to minimize their growth to the point of bursting BUT getting older seems to be a main factor that causes aneurysms becoming larger ..... one of the best ways I know of to prevent getting older, frankly, is to die. Second on the list is to radically improve the other two factors ( aside from heredity) that are the only 3 factors that cause a given persons condition of health; environment and lifestyle.

Good luck with yours!

Best wishes.
