Leave alone method causing adverse affects? Potential infection.

So I've left my lips alone for a month, using lip balm sparingly. Today they peeled but theres severe redness and my lips are very inflamed. Also the crusts were ridiculously think and smelled terrible, like rotting flesh. I think the leave alone is making my lips worse. I also think theyre infected as after the crust fell off, tiny clear bumps can be seen under the skin. Should I apply an Antibiotic now? Or an antifungal? I have no idea where to go from here



Heres a photo of my lips. In the top right there are tiny clear bumps that you cant really see due to blur. Could it be candida? A lip infection? I need some help guys. Please
