Help with raw rectum from cleansing.

My ND has me on a liver cleanse (not a flush), that also helps cleanse kidneys, colon, etc. I have had chronic diarrhea for over a month and before that several times a week, as well as major anxiety, adrenal fatigue, tachycardia, digestive issues, etc. I have all the signs of a sluggish liver. The cleanse has been great so far in many ways. My diarrhea is now more solid, my anxiety has gone down by at least 50% and my tachycardia is a lot better. The problem is, I am going to the bathroom so much that my rectum is beyond raw and bleeding slightly. They warned me that I would be going a lot, but I have almost another 3 weeks on this. I have had a long term hemorrhoid, so I am sure it is irritating that. Other than maybe some vaseline, can anyone recommend anything to help take away the rawness and bleeding? Thanks. Tweet
