Things I tried to cure ec

Things I tried to cure my ec are too numerous to state fully, but these are the ones that stick in my mind the most.

Excluding skin creams found on the high street aimed at dry skin and did not work for me; here are the more specialist products I tried.

Blistex, dried them out more, failed.
Savlon, Bepanthen, Eucerin, didnt work.
Lanisoh nipple cream moisterised but the lips still peeled.
Aquaphor, felt very gluey ( felt it was glorified vaseline) didnt work,

Macrobiotic diet did 3 years some improvement, but the diet was a bit boring and i didnt think i could continue any more with it,

fruit and veg diet and lots of water 21 days nothing, gave me nicer skin but the lips still peeled.

lavender essential oil in almond oil, didn't work.
lemongrass essential suspended in almond oil as carrier, didn't work.
Lemongrass tea didn't continue.
Clove oil suspended in in almond oil, didnt work.
T tree oil in almond oil didn't work
Aloe vera gel in tube didn't work
aloe vera cut from plant used topically
didn't work
Vit E oil
Aegan oil
Jojoba oil
Evening primrose oil
Bee propolis
wheatgerm oil
vicks diluted
None of the above worked.

Apple cider vinegar diluted used as a compress....didn't work too drying.
Apple cider vinegar taken internally, I hated the taste after couple of weeks saw no result, stopped taking it.

lemon juice applied fresh to lips, interesting they peeled after around 11 days, didn't continue, made them soggy.
Began suspect infection as my underlying problem.

White vinegar compress diluted with water they peeled very quickly. I stopped because seemed to harsh on my lips.

Alum a salt they peeled after 10 or 11 days, think it can help dry out ec but didn't work fast enough for me after couple of weeks stopped it.

Bicarbonate of soda and molasses drink aimed at getting rid of internal yeast conditions. I found to be interesting in that my lips seemed to take longer than normal to peel. I later decided just putting a teaspoon of bicarb into glass of water does the same thing.

Manuka honey umf 15 they peeled in 16 days, something in this was obviously helping to slow down the peeling.

Noxzema face cream this too i put tiny bit on my lips they peeled after 11 days again i felt something in it was slowing down the peeling.

Pau'd'arco, oliveleaf, olive oil interanlly, coconut oil internally, some improvement but lips still peeling.

Epsom Salt solution soaking lips 5 minutes at first after wiping lips with lemon juice and coconut oil on top as seen on a website for fungal conditions, I did for 6 months, peeling was around 10 to 11 days.

Epsom Salts in solution of water soaking for 6 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in evening 30 days effected a complete ceasing of peeling, splitting or exfoliation to the point where I feel healed. This being a fungal infection for me i recognise I may have to do this for perhaps 5 minutes each day to build up my skins acid mantle that has been lost due to numerous failed treatments. I hope to eventually reduce this to 2 soaks a week, this is the standard maintanance protocal for athletes foot or nail fungus, yeast being insidiously difficult to remove where it has taken root. I recognise my condition of ec as being another fungus..lip fungus.
