menopausal women: low estrogen is the problem

My wife's level was under 5 and should've been in the 150-250 range! Doctor said she had never seen a woman with such low a level in her life. She was going through major menopause and turning into a shrew. Once diagnosed, she had treatment for low estrogen and almost immediately turned in to a sex machine once again. True story.
