Re: Here's all a 50 plus person needs to do for exercise to maintain health

I've always had people ask me about what I mean by "muscle display". Well, I am very honest, brutally so when I discuss visual appeal. And if we're all honest with ourselves, if exercise was done just to give us some energy, or to prolong life and nothing else...most of use wouldn't do it. I wouldn't. There has to be some physical, visual appeal to building muscle that looks good to the eye. And weight training combined with cardio does that. My muscles look sexy and defined to the eye. Pecs carved and shaped as are shoulders and arms. This is an appealing look to females. As it is for a woman to be trim waisted and hour glass overall. If this critical factor didn't exist, why exercise? Most would not, so muscle display is how your body's muscles visually make the look complete.

In my 50's, I can walk into any pool or beach area anywhere in the world and look as good or better than 75% of ALL AGED GUYS in that environment. I can't beat 20 something guys who workout but because my "competition" dwindles with age dramatically, I can hold the stage with my rank and file. This is an awesome feeling and all done by the aforementioned exercise program above. It's really not that timeconsuming or exhausting, might look that way on paper but in reality...very manageable.
