Re: Iodine and MSG allergy

thank you, i stopped taking both eco-thyroid and Iodine two years ago when i went hyper, but the hyper symptoms did not go away

since the symptoms matched a thyroid storm, i started taking some thyroid calming herbs, and they helped me a lot at first... they even helped with my chronic cough for a while

a few months ago i put some Iodine on my skin and went hyper again, it felt like the top of my head was going to blow off and i started having really really loud ringing in my ears, especially the left one, the tinnitus was painful, it got worse when i fell asleep and the headache and tinnitus was waking me at 3 am, i was getting sleep deprived

the thyroid calming herbs did not help any more, so my GP sent me to a neurologist, he said it was glutamate storm and gave me some anti-seizure/anti-stroke medicine, but that stuff makes me dizzy and blurs my vision

i have ordered taurine and threonine as that is supposed to help the body process glutamate properly, sure hope it works, i need to get back on Iodine for the Depression and tachycardia, send me anything you know or find about how iodine helps brain process glutamate properly
