Is there anything you can do to g et these instructions cleared up? Do you know anyone at the Silver Puppy?

Programmable, but the instructions are extremely confusing. See if you can make any sense out of these instructions.

I would be glad to help normally, but I am at a disadvantage not having the newer model that you are confused about.

Apparently I have had mine longer than I realized. If you click on products at the top of the page of the link you have and look at the pic of the jar adapter that would be what mine looks like.

It has no buttons only 4 switches, [Swap - Auto- DC- Manual]

I use Swap Auto which makes Ionic clear up to 10PPM CS. From the directions you posted It said if you use a TDS meter [What I have], and  it indicates 10PPM, it is actually 20 PPM , but it's still clear.

Just for kicks I set it on [Man. DC] the other day and the CS color was like dark urine @ 23PPM on the meter or[46PPM]. I won't ingest it, but will use it for topical applications. The one silver rod was crusted with double the amount of discoloration.

I have spoken with the owner when my electric stirrer didn't work out of the box. He replaced it, but I don't actually know him. That along with not having the Silver 9 microprocessor programmable unit keeps me from getting involved with your not understanding of the instructions.
