Not So Fast And Loose!
grizz,
I Strongly Disagree.
I have Morgellons and talk to many people involved with both research and treatment.
Morgellons Disease and Lyme Disease have both been successfully treated with a number of protocols that do not include silver
Morgellons being diagnosed as DOP has become much less common in recent years. This is due in part to DOP having been removed from the CDC's description for Morgellons. The other is the research by Middelveen MJ (et al) showing live culturable Borrelia, the causative agent in Lyme Disease.
Morgellons is now believed to be caused by Borrelia and a cofactor (yet to be identified). Studies in Australia an the United States have both shown a six percent incidence of Morgellons in Lyme Patients.
Although
Colloidal Silver has been used by many to control symptoms in Morgellons and Lyme, it will not "Cure" either by itself. Upon stopping the silver Morgellons and Lyme always come back.
At The Charles E. Holman Foundation 2016 convention a question regarding collodial silver was ask. Eva Sapi, PhD took the question and said Collodial Silver is a powerful
Antibiotic but does not affect the Cyst Form. That is most likely the reason it is not a successful treatment.
