Success with NO EPSOM SALTS - first flush
Hi All,
After reading many posts and deciding for myself what to do, I wanted to share my experience with NO Epsom salt.
I was planning on doing this but had a lot of trouble finding food grade so in the end at the 11th hour, I decided to go without it. Plus, they were the one ingredient I have read lots about, with people having bad reactions and after effects.
So I have loaded up on apple juice for 5 days (almost 2 litres a day). The day before yesterday (Thursday) I started pretty much fasting. Had 100g
Watermelon for breakfast with one egg and some sauerkraut. Then fasted all day on apple juice and water and had a normal meal of some meatballs with zucchini and sweet potatoe.
On Friday, I got up early and completed a salt flush. I had done one last week but this one didn't really come out. I had one loose stool movement about 2 hours later but nothing else. I don't know where the salt went! But just carried on with my day.
I fasted all day Friday and only had 100g
Watermelon at 12noon and 2 litres of apple juice, plus a litre or so of water.
At 2pm I stopped consuming everything, including water.
I visited so many websites leading up to 10pm! Just trying to get some info as I was in two minds whether to abort or go through with it. I was concerned about stones getting stuck mostly.
Anyway, after some good solid courage from Uncle Google, I made my mixture with half cup of EV cold pressed olive oil and lemon and orange juice. After shaking it for five minutes it actually looked OK.
I got ready for bed and turned off the lights. Now for the mixture - and it was REALLY tasty. I could of drank another litre!
Anyway, I lie down and don't move for 30 minutes. I feel something in my stomach - no pain - indescribable - just feeling like something is pulling internally from top to bottom. No nausea, no vomiting, nothing unpleasant at all.
I woke up about 2am and was WIDE AWAKE! Still, no pain or nausea but a feeling of rejuvenation. I actually could feel my eyelids were heavy but everything else was wide awake. Still feeling the pulling in my stomach - I started massaging in a circular motion.
I eventually went back to sleep after about an hour. I woke at 5am and laid in bed and massaged my tummy again. I felt like I had to go - so off to the toilet we go.
I had a small movement with just some 'flakes' I guess. Nothing much and was disappointed but then I saw ONE green pea sized 'stone'. I was excited!
Then after about 10 minutes of lying down, I felt the urge to go - and this time 'flushed out' about 60 stones. Small in size and the biggest probably pea size - but man, I was really excited to see that.
Nothing else happened so about 6:30 I decided to do another salt flush. Just looking to eliminate whatever else is left. I hope this comes out OK and doesn't get 'lost' like yesterday!
I sit here and wait as I type this. I just wanted to let everyone know what a pleasant experience I had WITHOUT
Epsom Salts - they are disgusting so I believe so if I can pass stones without them, more power to me.
Good luck everyone and I hope his helped some who were considering the flush but have heard all of the nasty stories. I think if you eat a good diet, are in reasonable health, and have no obvious pain or issues with the gallbladder, go without the salts to start with.
I have a
colonic booked for Monday morning so if this salt flush fails, I am secure in the knowledge about getting cleansed "professionally".
UPDATE: I have had several bowel movements today and have passed at least 200 stones. Very happy. I started having some fresh orange juice about 11am, then some vegetable juice (kale, carrot, tomato, cucumber) with no issues. Have had some sauerkraut for good probiotics too. Will have a light dinner tonight, some more vegetable juice and probably back to normal by tomorrow (Sunday) evening.
