Re: Paranoid that I may have used water that was too hot (distilled water enema)

From your description it seems that the water was somewhere between 37 Celsius and hot (say, 80 celsius). That's absolutely fine. I have often done warm water enemas and it is soothing for the colon. The water can be warm or at room temperature, it should not be hot. If it is very hot, the damage it will do is cause burns in your colon wall. I don't think this is your case.

Relax!

Regarding blood in the stool, it is unnlikely that this was caused by warm water. It could be that you have not been eating healthily, or overeating, which has caused some abrasions in the colon wall.
