Chalazion any recommendations on how to treat

Hi Guys

My son has chalazion on his right eyelid. Went to the doctor who recommended with warm compress for 3 months, if still no change surgery. I don't want him to go through a surgery he's too young. If it's the last resort ofcourse. 

Have any of you tried any remedies that have worked. I have beed reading how parsley and cator oil can work. Any recommendations?
