Cheilitis/ exfoliative cheilitis (peely itchy flakey and or weepy lips/ area around the lips)

Cheilitis/ exfoliative cheilitis if it drys a new layer of skin each day that basically peels away in an inchy hellstorm. I have it to it comes and goes but USUALLY cant get it under control in a day or 2 with relative ease once you know how-

Heres whats up. (also its best to do this before bed as you sleep you don't open and or move your mouth much if at all and gives your mouth more time to heal and seal up for this process (and fear not IT WILL) but at the start of your day or if it gets bad you can begin by brusing your teeth and rinsing out with mouth wash ( i know it hurts like a mother when it cracks the sides but you gotta super clean everything to start this off, and once you do it will heal up quicker than you can imagine (like lookig better by the end of the first day even) anywho, wake up and dont yawn or eat anything, take a warm shower or bath (pretty damn warm btw) and after your done the warm water will help you GENTLY rub/ scratch ONLY the dead layer of skin off with relative ease, this layer of skin over new skin is what causes the ich so removing it is a god send when its ready. but DO NOT FOR BITS THAT ARENT PRACTICALLY FALLING OFF ONCE YOURE OUT OF SAID HOT SHOWER trust me just have one more shitty day with a few bits left and let the skin under heal up i PROMISE it will be ok and if you do force stuff off (i understand wanting to for social pressure it will just delay the process and cause painful cracks as you likely know. so anyway after rubbing softy and or scratching ever so lightly whats ready to come of (with CLEAN HANDS and nails) pour some peroxide into a cup and dilute it with water (otherwise its the most irritating combo of itch/fizz youll ever have on your mouth and you will claw your own lips off with the pleasure of releaving an itch. i usually do about 1 parts peroxide to about 3 to 4 parts water, you will still get a little tingle but thats good, you just dont wanna over do it. take a soft paper towl or cloth and dip in your cleany bacteria juice you just made and gently dab it all around your mouth, go ahead and give your lips a little push from behind with your tongue so it gets in all the cracks and what not, do this for about 2 minutes or until youre certain youve generously cleaned the area. then pad your lips dry ( NO RUBBING AT THIS POINT) with a new cloth or paper towl. now either walk around in circles for a few minutes or go sit down and let your lips dry out just a bit more on their own (id say 10 minutes maybe 20, after that grab some petroleum jelly AND ONLY petroleum TRUST ME, aquafor is good for a while but then it just end up doing the same shit as chapstick. get th damn jelly. and then apply liberally to your newly cleaned and primed/pruned lips with the end of a clean q tip ( after you clean your lips NEVER USE A FINGER TO APPLY ANYTHING YOU GO TO PUT ON THEM, ALWAYS A q tip you havn't touched the tips of. anyway after this you should be SINGING WITH JOY at the amazing relief the jelly brings after the clense, if you do this before bed its great because it gives your mouth time to rest undisturbed which is what it needs most and it can dry without causing you hell for a while which is also a plus. you pretty much repeat this process 2-3 times a day, in the morning so you don't look like you REALLY don't know how to use a razor and at noon and night just for maintenance. i promise in a day or 2 you will cry with the difference this makes, keep it up until its gone and if you EVER need someting for chap or dry lips Petroleum jelly ONLY.

if you REALLY need a redness reduction after a quick clean up for going somewhere, there IS a life saver but its not a cure all and don't over do it, but i SHIT YOU NOT get some visine or clear eyes with redness reduction (not just eye moisten drops/ fake tears) and they will remove red from your lips as well as they do from a stoners eyes and just in a matter of minutes, it works by constricting the blood vessels just as it does for the eyes. BUT remember when youre out on the go to NOT USE YOUR FINGERS just take th tip of the little bottle and gently dab around your mouth - you only need enough to moisten it, then pad dry with a cloth or paper towel (toilet paper leaves bits and leads to rubbing/ scratching so i recommend using either a soft high end paper towl or a soft wash cloth when cloths are required othewise a few q tips in your pocket for anything time you wanna use your fingers.

if mid way through the day it gets messy again from mouth movement/ talking or eating just clean with warm water - a little peroxide and make the water warm enough so you can get the flakes that are ready to come off - (BTW those are the ones that stick up/off and are visible, if its still sealed to your lip and you have to really dig in to get it its NOT READY and its a gamble to take it off early. once youre done with te quick clean/weed pulling, put some visine on to kill the redness and then a TINY bit of Jelly to seal em up and smooth out th rough edges and also kill the ability for the dry stuff to ich you up, BAM you now don't look like a wanna be joker. TEMP fix though and DONT over do the clear eyes (which also WONT work if used AFTER applying jelly, to reduce redness it MUST go first. also once reduced the jelly with really help keep the red/ich down and i promise a small shine - which you can pad most away with said cloth is a SMALL price to pay when you would other wise be walking around with what appears to be road rash on your mouth (trust me i know hwo it feels im reaching the end of a 3 day run right now) back before i knew how to deal with this i would go for WEEKS with this shit, dermatologists perscribing shit that made it MUCH worse, no f***ing clue and getting paid for it- awesome right? oh its red ich? here Hydrocordozone? didn't work? hydrocordozone 2!% (THATS DOUBLE THE PERCENT- wuuuuh? double the f***ed up results as well.... and once you get it down you can really get it down to a matter of days when you get an episode or a break out. dry taking B2 vitamins and iron as well as that can be a trigger if youre not an allergy victim for the most part.

THE KEY is to NOT TOUCH/LICK or SCRATCH- UNLESS its maintenance time and ONLY then and as careful as can be

hope this helps someone
