The Irish in me does, but we're pretty fatalistic, "if we don't die how will we get to heaven"?
But the rest of me knows alcohol is a toxin that fixes some problems and causes others, the cause and cure of all our problems according to Homer Simpson, probably the only intelligent thing he ever said. Anyway, I guess if life is just one long painful operation then anesthesia is called for.
