chelation backfire

I have friend with lyme who got talked into chelation for lead and mercury and it backfired, instead of stopping when things got bad they keep pumping the person with more medicine and they are in bad shape.

I recommened ALA but they seem to have a hard time wtih it....constipated, pelvic pain, shaking, disconnected a bit, pain.

They seem really sensitive to glutathione.

I thought maybe lots o Sea Salt , water and manybe tmg.
