Re: tramadol to cure my ibs suffering!

I accidently found Tramadol controlled my IBS because I took it for TMJ headaches. I had a particularily bad headache week and noticed that I had no IBS symptoms. I only take 50 mg a day but after a couple months it wore off so I'll have to go off for a a while. I have Dicyclomine but isn't near as effective and it makes me zone out sometimes.People keep saying it's a flora issue but I've read it's a brain -gut dysfunction.I took Prilosec for many years and wonder if there is a relationship there. I also had bile reflux from a gallbladder removal and since getting the IBS and taking the tramadol ,it has disappeared. I think the tramadol slowed down my bowl and bile reflux. My Doctor is pleased as punch about it. Anyway it has been great til this week and now I'm running to Bathroom til I can get back on tramadol! Tweet
