Body lotion bad for folliculitis?

I have been avoiding body lotions since I have folliculitis but a couple of nights ago I used one and I think it had perfume. The next day I noticed a couple of breakouts and a day after my folliculitis had spread. Is this a possible delayed reaction that it broke out so much. I left it on overnight. Is it possible it effected my skin days later? Tweet
