Re: The Spirit

You seem to have misinterpreted a few things.

The soul is our part that reincarnates to learn and experiece. To live every life anew and have the opportunity to experience in a different way, to make new choices in life, we receive a spirit. The spirit goes around the soul and so is called the Veil of Forgetfulness.

The spirit is our conscious, and the soul our sub-conscious. We feel the soul in our gut, where we carry a part of Light in us, a part of God's energy, connecting us to God, to The Light.

We can live in contact with our soul, by following our gut and put our connection to God, The Light and others above the materialistic part of life.

The influences you speak of are influences which will encourage us to want materialistic part above the spiritual part.

That is what life is about, gaining experience for the soul, to grow as a person, as a soul. And life should be in confidence of our soul, listening to our gut, not the fearful talk of people who speak of hell and damnation.

Of course a lot is written about it in the bible, because the bible gives us the same choice:

Do we choose fear to guide our choices, or do we trust in God and our soul, in our connection to God and the guidance we receive?
