Fruit, Coffee, and Leaky Gut

Horrible leaky gut. I was diagnosed with Giardia and other pathogens. I treated for months and was getting better with probiotics, MSM, vitamin C.

I grew up eating hardly any fiber. Right before the start of my gut issues I started eating a ton of fruit smoothies thinking i was being healthy. I was also a coffee addict. I went back to the smoothies after healing my gut and I'm back in the same boat.

I took a probiotic and had horrible gas and bloating due to the reaction with the pathogens. Here's my hypothesis.

Drinking the fruit loaded smoothies with coffee causes the stomach to open early and the fiber loaded fruit was dumped into the stomach with acid before it was digested or neutralized. The fruit then fermented rapidly in the gut with the acid and caused an overgrowth of bad bacteria and issues with the gut.

Anybody have any thoughts or things to add? Here are the two articles I'm basing this off of. There are plenty more online but these are pretty straightforward.
