Wondering for someone in SD

Hi, I'm planning next month travel to San Diego to this environment event. I'm a man that loves nature and learning about our planet. I'm going to be there for 2 week, and I'm hoping to know a little bit of the city since my last trips have been only for a few days. I'm definitely interesting on natural places were I can learn a little bit more of the greater things that the different cities of CA have to offer.
