Yes they say it is lyme related but not surely. Ascaris does not look like this at any stage.
You can try to get a bloodtest for lyme (elisa). They also test for borrelia, babesia and other coinfections specifically. Not sure how reliable is that. I have read about stephen buhner (he wrote a book on this) who has a good lyme protocol instead of Antibiotics , should you need it. I think it was called healing lyme.
