Longest - Safe - Dry Fast

I've been unemployed for a while, which provided the perfect opportunity to experiment with dry fasting. Every once in a while a job interview gets in between and I have to break it (rather irresponsibly). But my current one has been going for 7 days now, today makes 8. My heart rate hovers between 50 and 60, even when I'm active, and my blood pressure is 105-110 over 60, so understandably getting up from bed or seated takes a few minutes. And I walk (or should I say shuffle) like an 80 year old. If I move around for about 20 minutes, I'm able to walk normally again though. If I think too much (I'm studying for an exam) I need to take frequent naps or I just doze off.

However, apart from those obvious (standard) things, I'm fine. No signs of acidosis or dehydration. I'm still about 20 pounds above my minimum healthy weight with about 13-14% fat. So theoretically, I can go on for a bit. It has rained a lot, so the air is moist and as clean as it gets in a city environment. I don't shower or bathe (unemployed bachelor, what can I say, at least I don't perspire or suffer from body odor during the fast). I do brush my teeth every so often.

I know the suggested maximum is 12 days, the recorded maximum is 18 days (poor criminal). But I'm wondering if anyone has gone any longer. Since nobody checks in on me, I'm a bit anxious of suddenly slipping into a comatose state or something like that. I have water available everywhere I go so it's always at hand, I'm just not certain if my body would send me a signal or just go into sweet oblivion. It's extremely resilient, but this is possibly the most extreme thing I've ever done in my 35 years.

So, has anyone gone for more than 2 weeks? If so, how long? Any extreme complications at the tail end?

2016-06-22: I may not actually be able to go for much longer. It would appear my body has depleted its intravenous/visceral fat and is now attacking all subcutaneous fat. It's just a guess, but I take measurements daily (especially at my waistline). Since yesterday, these measurements started dropping exponentially, where before progress was almost nothing. Conclusion: I'm about to lose that Happy Meal I ate when I was five, which is stored in the first few pounds of fat my body stored. Shelton states one should fast until skeletal condition is reached, and I'm definitely curious what real hunger feels like. Plus, it would be nice to stop eating pieces of skin from dry lips...

One issue though. When one reaches real hunger, and the fat has been depleted, it would be difficult to break the fast. After all, if I switch from dry fasting to water fasting, I'm still fasting. If I switch from water fasting to juice fasting, I'm still fasting. So how can one break a fast in the right way once real hunger sets in, while consuming enough calories to satisfy the body's needs? Would I be forced to go from dry fasting straight to juice feasting within 12 hours, rather than build up to it? I would need to eat to prevent the body from cannibalizing itself, but I can't eat yet because I can't rush breaking the fast. Chicken, meet egg.

2016-06-23: So, yesterday was a horrible day. I felt like how you feel when you're switching to ketosis, slow, unresponsive, the mind is willing but the body isn't. At the end of the day I had a really dry throat and I was hot all over. Could still produce a lot of saliva, but swallowing was just plain tough. It's better now, although I woke up with a really sticky mouth.
Day 10. Every day is a new record for me. I may have a job by the end of next week, so I'll probably stop at 14 days and never again have the opportunity to go this long, but I'm proud of my accompishment. Even though I'm absolutely bored to tears, while having no tears to spare. It feels like time stands still.

After some consideration, I have opted to end the dry spell halfway through day 10. My heart wasn't into it anymore, my throat remained superdry and I have to sign my contract next week, so I'll need a bit of blush in my cheeks and a healthy appearance. I'm still proud and amazed by the accomplishment. So I'll take water gently the rest of today and segway into juices over the next few days. Those first few sips are like heaven in a glass...

Anyway, my questions are still valid, so if anyone reads this, please do comment. I'd love to know if anyone has gone beyond 14 days without side-effects.
