Finally cured!!
So I've suffered from
Body Odor since autumn of 2014. It came from no where and, like many of you, I've been through a revolving door of doctors, referrals, and health care workers. I've purchased so many useless products and vitamins and minerals. I've tried activated charcoal, chlorophyll, b vitamins, zinc, grape seed oil, psyllium husk, probiotics, and so many more to no avail. Life sucked and I ditched practically all my friends, quit my job (it was in an office and I couldn't stand people complaining or saying it smelled like shit anymore), and basically became a poor recluse. Let's just say I went nearly crazy with my searching and attempts to find a cure.
I can now say that my problem was Hpylori. I was finally correctly diagnosed by my most recent doctor who tested for Hpylori (no other doctor did). The smell vanished within a couple weeks of taking
Antibiotics . I knew instantly when I was cured because people weren't avoiding me like the plague, or loudly sniffing/coughing/etc in public. Also, I can't smell the odor any more. It was usually worse right after eating and I could fill a whole bus with the putrid smell.
Life's not all completely better. I'm still pretty scarred from what I've been through. I'm going back to grad school in September and I'm really nervous for that. But I thank God that I found a cure for myself and that I never got discouraged or believed it was all in my head.
My diet is also dairy free. I found that I was lactose intolerant and I refuse to take some enzyme pill so I can consume dairy. Also, I still take antacids and will do so for the next six months.
Anyway, I wish you all the best of luck. I've lurking cure zone for quite some time and feel for everyone here. Hope that you find your cure and if you haven't been, I encourage you all to go get tested for Hpylori. It doesn't cause symptoms for everyone but for some it may cause
Body Odor .
