Thank you, Grizz! I suspect you are right, and that the Gilbert's is not only restricted to bilirubin but instead likely involves other enzymes and aspects of the conjugation process in the Liver. I get apprehensive about liver treatments and supplements, not wanting to overstimulate the phase one pathway and over loading my already low functioning phase two pathway.

I tried taking some SAMe, taurine, and carnitine (NOW brands) after the Gilbert's diagnosis, but stopped the second day when I experienced terrible pain in my kidneys. I stopped.

I currently taking Garden of Life zinc and b complex, as well as probiotics, but that's only been about a week.
