Heads Up..FWIW
Check your credit cards for bogus charges regularly. These two cards are from my bank.
About a month ago one of my cards had a charge against it for pet supplies from a german Shepard business. The bank froze the card, gave me credit for $388.00 dollars spent, and gave me a new card. These cards have a chip that is suppose to make them safer.
This month the new card had two bogus charges on it from a kitchen supply business. One for $196.00, and the other for $192.00. That's right added together it is $388.00 again. What are the odds??
I had the original cards with no security chips for years, and never had a problem.
The reason I mention this is because CBS news did a segment on credit card fraud the other night. They showed how card readers were put on machines in a second or two by two individuals. one would keep the cashier busy, while the other would put the card reader on the credit card machine.
CBS then said to get new cards WITH the security chip to keep from being scammed. What a joke.
