Inferior lip repairing - need help

//www.curezone.org/upload/_O_P_Forums/Peeling_Lips/inferior_lip.jpg

So this is my most recent picture.

If you zoom in you can see there are tiny what look like arterial lines (look like little red rivers), all over the place.. but with patches of pink dotted about. I am hoping that the ligher pink colour is where the upper epidermis has repaired. This is my second week of leaving them alone, and I'm hoping the redness will slowly go lighter and lighter until the outer skin is able to stitch into that inferior part of the lip.

My only fear/doubt is whether this redness is ever going to repair itself, or whether I have caused permenant damage to the dermis (basement level) from biting/ripping at them for sooo many years. It worries me that this may never heal!

I'm contemplating whether I should apply more coconut oil/aquaphor to the area to speed up the process, or leave it alone ?

This is so f***ing hard man.
