No boron has not made you copper toxic, taking over 1.5mg of copper per day causes your body to hold on to all the copper you consume rather than excreting excess. Just wanted to say boron is extremely important to yours and all peoples health- make sure you get at least 3mg of boron. If you take about 30mg of pure borax you will also get 3mg of Boron. I strongly advise you not to supplement with copper. There is no copper deficiency. If you find yourself with lower copper in the blood- supplement with amounts of copper which are less than 900mcgs(micrograms).900mcgs is 9/10's of a milligram. Preferably 500 or less. You should also have your water supply tested as it may have more than enough copper- you can drink distilled instead as an option. We get copper in water and all food to one extent or the other due to copper pipes etc. The reason you are having too high copper is due to the supplementation. Copper has been found to be a problem due to many vitamin companies adding it to supplements- this can also be caused by their sources of water for nutrient condensates etc. The problem is your body needs very little copper. Research has proven that when your copper intake goes up toward 1.5 to 2mg and higher the body will stop excreting excess copper as it does with lower intake. This is not related to boron intake at all. Do not stop taking boron or selenium. Both of these require daily supplementation for efficacy. Stop supplementing copper for a while. Find a multivitamin that does not add copper to the mix at all or one that has less than 500mcg(micrograms) per day. Boron is necessary for every aspect of the body as it is vital to the building of cell walls and signal transmission. Our boron intake has disappeared due to the destruction of soils by criminal chemical agriculture. Organic apples used to have 20 to 30mg of boron(an apple a day used to keep the doctor away- now we must assure it is organic) - it is a good natural source especially if you can have the organic apple farm verify boron content. Insufficient intake of boron causes Arthritis and other diseases including cancer.
