Re: Find yourself
Thank you, WS.
I will try walking. I will also try doing it without
Epsom Salts and in the morning instead of evening. My first liver cleanse was not a big success. I am still recovering from it, one month later. Still experiencing indigestion, acid reflux, pain in my pancreas and gallbladder etc. I wonder if it was due to
Epsom Salts . It occurred to me that while they relaxe the ducts, they also relaxe the sphincters which are designed to keep things flow one way and not backwards. Backward flow can result in blockages and pancreatitis.
Epsom Salts also irritate the gut lining and possibly slow down motility after the flush which can contribute to inflammation and bacterial overgrowth. I guess I am just trying to find explanation why cleanses don't go as expected for some people.
Found an account of a raw vegan (for 12 years) that had an awful experience with
Liver Flush and is still recovering from it 2.5 years later. She did 2
Liver Flushes according to Morritz book 3 weeks apart. Holistic doc she is seeing thinks that epsom salts created a lesion in her small intestine. She's been having bloody stools, intolerance to fats, raw vegetables and a full blown IBD following the cleanse. Kinda scary though she is doing better now.
In this video she is 42 years old (2013). Looks like an old lady to me.

and an update here from 2015 where she somewhat recovered.

I really wish this cleanse was studied more and possible pitfalls worked out, the dosages corrected based on weight, health concerns etc.
