double vision

Hello
Wanted some input for my recent double vision problem. My right eye optic nerve #3 has suffered some type of damage- it swoll up a little, had a little discharge, not much, about 2 weeks ago. Then started a double vision condition called binocular diplopia.
I did use a T2 zapper on my forehead which I found out later is a no no. Wondering if this could possibly be cause. Ever since this started there has been a feeling of pressure behind that eye. Just enough of an ache to disrupt my sleep. I get the same ache when I use this eye during the day- I think REM while dreaming at night seems to aggravate it.
I went to emergency 5 days into this and they did about $50K worth of fooling around- kept me overnight for observation. Cat scan, 2 MRIs, heart sonogram, chest Xray, and buckets of blood for the lab. End result- nothing. Due to my diabetic & hypertension condition they labeled it a micro stroke but not in cranium- between cranium & eye. Number 3 optic nerve controlling tracking and some eyelid muscles.
Wanted any input on T2 as possible cause- and odds that it will heal??
