candida and legs pain

Hi all,

I don't know if here is the appropriate forum, but I'll give a try.I'm new here. I'll be extremely glad if someone could give me a hint on my problem.

I've been suffering for 2 years of chronic muscle pain in the legs, and sometimes in the perineum, i'm male.

everything started after unprotected sex with a girl i did not know after a party.

I've thought to a lot of things like pudendal neuralgia or some pelvic contractions. I can exclude with certainty the pudendal neuralgia (tests), still do not know for the pelvic muscle contractions.

Very recently I discovered that candida may give some strange symptoms as well, which are similar to mines. so i've already booked for a skin swab analysis in a lab next week.

As I thought (with my doctor) at first to a prostitis, I assumed some Antibiotics like Bactrim and Cipro for more than one month or two (Bactrim 2 weeks, cipro 6 weeks I think). I remember to have taken for some weeks another antibiotic. One day I remember that I noticed a white secretion from my urethra while I was showering, but I noticed only once and never again. This happened while I was taking Cipro.

my symptoms in general are:
-muscular (more than joint) pain/burning, pretty exclusively in the front/internal/external part of the legs and in the groin (here where you can find the psoas muscles). sometimes in the perineum.
In particular there are like some trigger points, just pressing in some exact points of my legs it hurts a lot, elsewhere it doesn't.
-I've a kind of wound between the buttocks which does not go away (above the anus). it appeared at the same time this story started 2 years ago. I noticed that the wound "reopen" during the days when the burning is particular intense.sometimes is bigger, sometimes it disappears for weeks, sometimes it comes back.
-very occasionally sore throat (white things in the throat), but not often (twice I think)
-sometimes my perineum spasms

I have read that candida may give these symptoms, particularly referred to the muscle aches.

My questions are:
did anyone else experienced something like this with candida? i do not have aches in the abdomen or arms, just in the legs
do you think that candida may be related in my case?
or do you may have an idea on what it could be?

many thanks!
