So about a year ago I started the cutler protocol and things seem to be going pretty good. My question has to do with the protocol itself.
Cutler isn't a big believer in mthfr. Well per my pretty decent doctor's recommendations AND my own research, I'm taking stuff for mthfr like L5 methyltetrahydrofolate three times a day. I'm also taking a little SAM E some seraphos, COQ10....some yucca root to help with sulfur and ammonia...and a seeking health prenatal protein shake every morning and half a dose of a seeking health multivitamin in the afternoon. I also take enzymes with the yucca root at every meal. My doctor who is also a holistic doctor in addition to being a DO has me on four different herbs for liver and kidney support. I added some other herbs for more kidney and liver support. When I added those I saw a big jump in feeling better. It's possible all of this could be part of the process of getting the mercury out.
The whole reason I'm writing is I wanted to see about someone else's experience with cutler perhaps while not strictly following his protocol. My only worry is that at some point as I remove the mercury, I will start to overmethylate as I remove mercury and start a long term situation of that which I've read is super bad. When i don't take the L5 and stuff I'm taking, I feel like dookie. With that said, I'm also worried that the herbal blends my doctor has me on from sun ten may do unforeseen things as far as the cutler protocol....since it was designed for only the recommended herbs. i.e. milk thistle and ginger.
