soil based probiotics???

Has anyone had better luck with soil based probiotics? I've spent hundreds of $$$ and am not healing my colon very well. After having colon cancer and dumping a huge load of colon plaque, I am probably starting at ground zero with the good bacteria.There are a lot of new articles coming out saying that kefir and yogurt won't do it. They haven't for me. What do you think about the articles on http://www.integratedhealth.com? Thank you for your experience and knowledge.
