What is the point of being in business if not for profit? Why would banks provide the convenience of currency for nothing? Are they supposed to be a slave to society and just do all that work for the fun of it? I definitely think there should be a limit to how much can be demanded from the public by an agency that has fostered dependency to the degree that people's lives and livelihoods are at stake without buying the service they provide. Banking should have never become a business. Why did the US farm out banking to the federal reserve so they could do it for profit? That decision made no sense at all.
Banking was once a service that the government provided. Business is all about profit. Excessive profitability in banking is unethical. Ethical profitability as a win win enterprise. Unethical profitability dictates suffering. And people are getting sucked dry. Few can save money, "own" property, and pay property taxes. It costs too much money. "Equity" is their only savings. There is no money left over after making payments to save because corporations don't pay enough. The entire banking system needs to collapse. How and why did we move away from the governmental currency service that was paid for with taxes? That was a big rub. How did banking for profit manage to establish itself? Of course they wouldn't want to do such a thing for nothing. It was a bad idea. Whose? How did it get started and why?
There are two lies we must stop believing in order to be truly free:
1) It is possible for people to own chunks of the earth, and
2) We are free.
Nature created the earth. It belongs to God. The earth can shake the people off like fleas if they don't learn how to respect her and develop a synergistic relationship with her instead of a parasitic one.
Having accepted lie number one is the reason we are all slaves, and we shall remain slaves for as long as we believe that it is possible for people to own land.
The reason people have to pay money to live on the planet where they are born is because they are slaves to the concept of land ownership. Remembering the truth and returning to the management of natural resources wisely, because they do NOT belong to us, will set us free. We much reorganize society based on the truth, and we shall truly be free.
