Fascinating interview with Christian Science Practitioner. How does CS healing work?

I'm posting this in a couple of places, because I'm not sure how it reaches the right people.

Anyway, my parents were Christian Scientists. When I was a kid I was healed several times by CS practitioners, without ever knowing why or how they did it. In fact, when I had a back injury in my twenties, my mother persuaded me to go to a practitioner, and to my amazement it worked again - I was healed within minutes. So clearly there's something powerful going on.

A few years ago, I went to Brazil to visit John of God, and found similar healing energies there.

Although I didn't follow in my parents' footsteps into the church, I always wanted to know how their healing practices worked. Also whether the religion was actually an essential element, or whether healing was achievable without it.

So now there's this show, in which an actual CS practitioner is questioned about how CS heals, and is led into giving straight answers.
