I have similar Fordyce spots, I think they are permanent. from what I can see I don't think the aquaphore is going to heal your lips. chapstick is not as shiny and goopy as aquaphore or Vaseline you should try and get a good chapstick the ones with spf 45 seem to work good for me all my life, they were always my favorite. it also looks like you could improve by stopping the aquaphore and just using some saliva and nibbling at the dead skin. this is advice of having it for 17 years and its my best advice I have.
