Have you tried DoTerra's frankincense oil? I went to a class and find theirs to be a very high quality oil. You can check them out on the web. It's more expensive than the one you bought, but it might be worth it. If you don't want to use theirs make sure you are looking for Therapeutic-grade oils. Another question is, how are you defusing? It should be with a nebulizing (my first choice) or an ultrasonic diffuser (my second choice). You should never use heat to diffuse your oils. Heat changes the oil and you won't get the same health benefits from it.
