cleaning the body to facilitate fasting
Hello, Kmg,
I had good results from my last 9 day WF, although I have to say that my strength only came back after the needed work load for my muscles which were sore for about 3 days, but right after that I noticed nearly 80% strength recovery as compared to pre-fast. It will take another heavy loaded day or two such that my body gets the signal - "time to rebuild muscles fully". Right now I am 2.5 mths after the fast. I've heard ppl saying it took them much more time to regain strength if they fasted longer or to completion.
I also have to say, that pre-fast my liver seemed to be in very good if not excellent shape, since the few flushes I've done (probably 5-6) yielded only bile in big quantity. Further I have no visible signs of liver trouble - no spots, lines, wrinkles, yellow sclerae etc. Now, I am trying to figure out what maintenance flushing is reasonable in my case, given that my weight is just about 115 lbs and 1 cup = 200 ml of
OO (Olive-Oil) for a flush seemed too far fetched (even with the preps and the accompanying citrus juice) as per unfortunate experience of mine. I had the heaviest feeling ever in my stomach and I could not bare even the thought of
OO (Olive-Oil) for about a year afterwards. I just recently stopped getting nauseous when smelling OO.
For me, cleaning the intestines before the fast, and as qualified here as a heresy - once during the fast - was a very big plus. No gastrointestinal, reflux etc. symptoms at all, if not for the heavy aches and cramping, which resolved with the cleanse. Upon resuming eating I experienced the best ever digestion I can remember having in my life.
Agreed with Archus - the cleaner you are before fast, the easier the body deals with the remaining tasks.
Take care,
DL
