Glutathione is essential for the liver - I used liposomal glutathione with great success. Much better than any oral form. Go slow and then build up which means start at 1/4 teaspoon. Choline and taurine are essential as well.

I found it beneficial to take charcoal during the process which will help mop up the toxins. Other choices could be clays (bentonite, pascalite), zeolites, enemas.
