Thank you for your updates!
I believe that, if you are in a good nutritional status, fasting will speed the recovery. I know of a case of a 83-y.o. who fasted 25 days until her broken hip healed completely around day 25 (for ppl that age either it doesn't heal or heals like in 3 months). She had full mobility after; thankfully her fracture was not displaced.
You may want to have things like moringa, spirulina, extra vitamins as in Tangy Tangerine 2.0, before your surgery, and it will help for a fast after it.
