That's a shame. Guess it was on the cards though, since the AVOID tables given by Pierce were never likely to take every situation into account.

The fats idea is anti-intuitive though, since fats are processed by the liver. It makes more sense to me to rest the liver rather than give it more work to do. The only hepatic support protocol I know off the top of my head is quebra pedra (aka chanca piedra), but don't know if it's suitable for dogs, or what effect it might have on the internal bleeding.
