Re: Parasitic and bacterial function in manipulation of brain and CNS function?

I suppose that could happen, I know when I jump into the research articles at PubMed there is always new information being discovered so it wouldn't surprise me.

I do know they can utilize available nutrients say folic acid or cysteine to help them (since they are life forms). But this always leads to arguments about taking supplements where one side may claim that this will help them proliferate while the other side would argue that the human will suffer with poor responses (say immunity) if humans do not receive adequate nutrients. I think the best approach is careful observations about supplementation.

Adrenals are always weakened due to the strong immune cycles that occur with these infections. The infections put the body into fight or flight for sure and with all that activity they become weakened. This happened to me and sent me into a Cushing's like state. My blog post about this http://patrickrambling-pb.blogspot.com/2012/02/adrenal-fatigue.html

I think the bottom line is how to eradicate them and how to support the body during the fight.
