Amen. I got desperate over 10 years ago and started taking desiccated adrenal and thyroid. I am sure it saved my life. I could barely move let alone have a real life.

So let me warn you about one hitch. When you feel back to normal you'll decide you don't need it anymore. Bad...bad...mistake. It takes forever to get back up to speed. So my advice is to never stop. You can reduce the dose but don't stop.

Desiccated glandular products are getting harder and harder to find. Many of the manufacturers are taking out the gland and just adding herbs. Sorry, they don't work. I buy NatraBio adrenal but it is not near as good as it use to be. It use to have 2 types of desiccated adrenal and more powerful dose.
Now I have to take 4 doses to get the same as old formula. Natural Solutions use to make a great desiccated thyroid but now it is mostly herbs and worst of all they added maltodextrin.

I don't know whether it is economics or the FDA causing this change. I do know I am not adverse to making my own. (visit the butcher)

No one, including 6 endos, has ever offered me a better solution. I continue to try cures to end my need for the glands but I have had little success so far. I just recently added thymus because it is suppose to jump start the immune system.

I want to be fixed but I'll take whatever I can get. Tweet
