While pain relief from biopsy is important, it is far more important to have a thermographic image of the tumor area done first, this can be used to rule out false positives. Because of the increased cellular activity, cancerous tumors have a definite heat signature that can easily be seen with thermography.

Warning, Biopsies can increase the risk of metastasis and spread of cancer.
