EASY 2-Step Seb Derm Fix/Maintenance

Great place to start for tips on managing/curing Seborrheic Dermatitis :

//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=2057688

I want to add to that as I followed a number of the steps in above link and they helped, many were time intensive/unrealistic for a busy work schedule. My fix was immediate and I have experienced no major flare-ups since I started the routine.

My issues PRIOR to Treatment: Chronic Dandruff and Angry red/bleeding scalp, resulting in hair loss in early 20s. Began in college (likely from bad diet and alcohol consumption) and has only gotten worse with high stress work schedule, bad eating habits (12-14 hour a day work schedule, dinner at 10pm). In addition, Seb Derm patches of flaky white skin and acne-like sores, sometimes bleeding, on eyebrows and underneath eyes. Forehead nearly permanently red and flaky. Forming wrinkles prematurely on face in effected areas.

Results of Fix: Dandruff ELIMINATED for 1st time in probably 10 years. (Had tried steroid creams, medicated shampoos, etc. that didn't work, had been using dandruff shampoo perpetually to manage it, stopped working.) Wrinkles on face gone along with patchy skin. No more redness/flakiness or bleeding anywhere. ELIMINATION OF ALL ITCHINESS!! Hair loss stopped and looks like it is starting to thicken again. Starting to recognize myself again when I look in mirror. I have been on this routine for a little over a month now.

The Fix:

Warning/Disclaimer - I am not a doctor or an expert of any kind, just suffered from this malady for a long time and want to share my experience and subsequent fix. People have different types of skin so take caution and do plenty of research before engaging in any of the below fixes.

Items You Will Need -
*Disclaimer: I have no financial or otherwise stake in mentioning these products, they are sold by different vendors that I have no affiliation with. If you want a link to where to find them, feel free to ask in the comments section. I just can't post a link per the guidelines of this forum*

All of these items have Anti-Fungal properties, which is why they are so effective, but they also contain all-natural ingredients that helped repair damage to my skin caused by Seb Derm.

Product 1: Glossy Locks "Grow More" Shampoo
(I am a guy, ignore the name, it doesn't make you look weird or smell like a girl, tear the label off if you are that worried about it)

Product 2: Glossy Locks "Grow More" Conditioner
(same comment, MUST BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH PRODUCT 1)

Product 3: "One with Nature" Dead Sea Salt Soap from Whole Foods
(This, for me, replaces the Sea Salt mixture that you have to keep splashing on your face in the above CureZone link, way easier to use and just as a effective, the salt clings to the effected areas like hydrogen peroxide on a wound)

Product 4: Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
(Important not to skimp on the vinegar, other types that are not all natural/organic do not have the same effect)

Routine -

Step 1 is meant as an intial assualt on the problem areas and can be re-used as needed. Step 2 is meant as more of an everyday maintenance/repair routine to keep it from coming back.

Step 1: Nuking The Out-Of-Control Seb Derm

Use Product 4 (Apple Cider Vinegar) on your face/scalp in all effected areas. Alternatively, apply to your entire face/scalp to prevent the Seb Derm from spreading. You can either mix with Spring Water to dilute (never tap) or use directly on your face/scalp (THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE PLEASANT, IT'S GOING TO BURN LIKE $%#!). Although this is not a pain-free solution, within a day or so (depending on severity) you should notice major improvement, if not an entire eradication of the Seb Derm from your face/scalp. It took me probably 2-3 applications on my face and maybe 3-4 applications on my scalp over the course of 2 days or so, but I saw significant improvements after every use. ALSO, it smells very very strong, so my recommendation would be to apply before going to bed, let it dry and then go to sleep like that so that no one but you has to smell it, the smell goes away after showering and also just fades away while you sleep.

Step 2: Shower Routine

Apply products 1 and 2 as you normally would shampoo and conditioner, but making sure to rub them into your scalp thoroughly, basically giving yourself a head massage, let product 1 sit in your hair for a few minutes and then rinse out, repeat process with product 2. For me, product 2 had a more noticeable effect on my scalp and I could feel IMMEDIATE relief.

Use product 3 as you would any other soap and as needed to maintain any small flare-ups or just as daily soap. It can make your face feel a little dry sometimes depending on your skin, but if you are in a warm climate or sweat a good amount, it shouldn't be too bad or you shouldn't notice it at all. You can also wait for your face to dry and then wash any salt off after, but i have never noticed it be bothersome enough to outweigh seb derm returning.

*Rule of Thumb: Always start a new routine/fix on a weekend or when you are otherwise not obligated to be at work or school or something because you never know how your body will react to a new routine/fix.

**Additional changes to daily activity/behavior: (These can be used in conjunction with the above but are not necessary for the above to work)

-Drink more water
-take probiotics
-eat less bread or anything that will clog up your system or make you feel more dehydrated
-drink less alcohol
-no cigarettes/cigars
