Hernia problem

I just turned 30 years old and I am now 10 weeks pregnant with my second child. Recently I had some back aches and abdominal pain with a bulge in that area. I went to the doctor and the scan showed that I have a hernia on my right side. My question is have any of you been through a pregnancy with hernia? Should I go for hernia treatment at any clinic like the Shouldice hospital which is nearby? Did any of you have surgery? Does anybody have any suggestion for me? Any advice would be appreciated.
